Job summary

Columbus McKinnon Roodepoort invites applications for a Trainee Associate Stock Controller, Lifting Tackle Inspector to support the issuing and inspection of lifting equipment. Based in Roodepoort, this role contributes to asset management and safety compliance.

The position involves colour-coding, system updates in Lifting Connect, and coordinated client liaison, administration and correspondence as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years working experience in the field.
• Valid Driver’s License (Would be advantageous).
• Matric certificate, LTI certificate.

Responsibilities

• Issuing and receiving of Lifting Equipment.
• Minor repairs on Lifting Equipment where defined.
• Pre-use, Monthly, Quarterly Inspection.
• Change of Colour Coding (Tagging).
• Update & Maintain the Lifting Connect System (Assets, Employees, Licences, Permits, Dashboards).
• Client Liaison, administration, and correspondence.
