Job description

The Stock Controller is responsible for ensuring the store is correctly stocked and that all stock movement within the store is properly controlled to ensure a brilliant customer experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Overseeing the movements of all stock in and out of the warehouse.
  2. Ensuring the storeroom stock levels are always correct.
  3. Receiving all stock accurately and GRN'd efficiently into the system.
  4. Ensuring that all stock leaving the store follows the correct process and is signed off.
  5. Overseeing the picking and packing of stock for dispatch notes.
  6. Investigating any variances in stock, identifying root causes, and providing solutions.
  7. Ensuring the storeroom is kept neat and tidy.
  8. Pulling stock for use on the depot floor.
The experience we're looking for:
  1. Experience in a related role is an advantage.
  2. Relevant tertiary education is an advantage.
  3. Computer literacy, including MS Excel and MS Word.
  4. Great organisational skills are essential.
  5. Strong attention to detail.
  6. Fluent in spoken and written English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
