Job summary

Apex Paarl is seeking an experienced STEM educator to join our new school. You will teach GET Mathematics and Natural Sciences, focusing on closing gaps, reteaching concepts, and supporting learners who are English language learners.

This on-site role requires collaboration with teachers and use of our digital platform. You will deliver targeted small-group instruction, monitor progress, and contribute to professional development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Sciences with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• SACE registration or proof of registration in progress.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching Mathematics and Natural Sciences, preferably in multilingual or second-language context.
• Experience in reteaching, intervention or learner support roles is strongly recommended.
• Familiarity with CAPS Mathematics and Natural Science curriculum (GET).
• NSC marking experience is an advantage.
