Statistical Technician

• Conduct data mining to support statistical controls for key product and process characteristics.
• Support defect reduction strategies through data analysis.
• Manage calibration processes for measurement equipment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and enhance analytical reports to monitor product and process quality.
• Perform data mining using SAP for claims analysis.
• Contribute to Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement projects.
• Participate in Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to support data interpretation.
• Oversee calibration schedules ensuring all measurement tools are properly serviced.

Performance Indicators :

• Efficient data visualization and statistical analysis.
• Effective data support for process improvements.

Qualifications :

• Required: Technical National Higher Diploma, Six Sigma Yellow Belt
• Preferred: BTech or equivalent, Six Sigma Green Belt

Experience :

• Required: 2-3 years in a Quality / Process / Statistical environment
• Preferred: 3-5 years in similar roles
• Proficiency in MSA, SPC, data analysis, Excel, Minitab, SAP, Power BI
• Strong understanding of calibration processes
• Logical thinker with attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills
• Effective communication and customer representation
• High integrity
