Job Opportunity: Field Promoter in Mozambique

Starke Ayres is the foremost African specialist and global supplier of premium vegetable, flower, and lawn seed varieties for both commercial and home gardening.

We are seeking a Field Promoter based in Mozambique. The primary goal of this role is to maximize sales profitability, growth, and market penetration within an assigned geographical area by effectively selling Starke Ayres' approved product range in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business.
• Identify priority products and customers in the assigned area.
• Develop and implement a customer sales plan, monitoring its progress weekly and monthly.
• Regularly canvass existing and potential customers through scheduled routes and appointments.
• Provide customers with product information, pricing, and promotions, and address any issues promptly.
• Assist customers in maximizing product utilization and identify product development needs.
• Participate in planning, conducting, and evaluating trials and demonstrations, including field days.
• Process orders accurately and promptly, and submit necessary reports and expense claims regularly.

Requirements

• Matric certificate (essential).
• Diploma or Agricultural degree (preferable).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the agricultural industry, specifically in vegetable seed sales and marketing.
