Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. is seeking a Stage Crew Member to support all stage and technical needs for performances aboard our cruise ships. You will assist with set-up, maintenance, and strike, and operate lighting, sound, and other equipment during shows.

The role requires physical fitness, strong teamwork, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced schedules. You must be willing to live onboard for extended periods and pass required medical and travel checks.

Qualifications

• Previous stage crew experience, preferably on cruise ships or live entertainment.
• Knowledge of lighting, sound, and stage equipment.
• Able to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changes.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
• Must pass medical exam and obtain travel documents.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
• Willing to live and work onboard a cruise ship for extended periods.

Position: Stage Crew Member

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up, maintenance, and strike of all stage and technical equipment for performances and events
• Operate lighting, sound, and other technical equipment during shows and events
• Work closely with the Entertainment Team to ensure all performances run smoothly and efficiently
• Participate in rehearsals and assist with any necessary changes or adjustments to technical aspects of the shows
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment on the stage and backstage areas
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment during port days and embarkation/disembarkation
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Stage Manager or Entertainment Director

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a cruise ship or live entertainment setting
• Knowledge of lighting, sound, and other technical equipment used in stage productions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing schedules and show requirements
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy equipment
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination and obtain necessary travel documents
• Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
• Must be willing to live and work onboard a cruise ship for extended periods of time
