An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Registered Nurse (RMNH, RGN, RNLD) to join our busy team in our Older Adult Acute Mental Health ward (Morlich Ward).
Morlich Ward is a 12 bedded mixed sex ward providing assessment and care for older people who are experiencing an acute episode of mental ill health. You would be working as part of a highly motivated and encouraging team, who adopt a person centred approach to care, always aiming for a positive patient experience of admission.
The successful candidate will be motivated, demonstrate a commitment towards the continued development of patient focused care whilst fostering a therapeutic ward environment. .
The role will also be responsible for proactively promoting partnership working with patients, carers and other professionals/ agencies in line with legislative frameworks, agreed standards and clinical policies.
The successful candidate would be an RMNH/RGN/RNLD registered with the NMC in the UK
You will be able to demonstrate strong values, with good communication & team-working skills. An active interest in older adults and mental health would be vital.
