CHEP Sub-Saharan Africa, part of Brambles, seeks a Senior Director Finance to partner with the VP SSA and Leadership Team, accountable for the financial stewardship and performance of a multi-country operation. Lead end-to-end financial performance for the South African business and subsidiaries; shape decisions to drive sustainable growth, operational effectiveness, investment returns and cash generation.

Qualifications

Qualified financial leader with at least 10 years in senior roles within multinational or dispersed organisations.
Proven ability to influence business performance through commercial insight and strategic decision support.
Experience partnering with executive leadership and operating in matrix environments.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end financial performance of the South African business and subsidiaries.
Serve as primary strategic finance advisor to Country Leadership Team.
Shape strategy through analysis of growth opportunities, profitability, capital expenditure and investments.
Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
Develop a high-performing finance function and manage governance, risk and controls.
