The purpose of the senior recruitment consultant is to partner with hiring managers to find candidates to fill temporary and permanent job positions within SLA.

The Recruitment Consultant's is responsible for attracting the right culture fit and skill sets into the business using marketing techniques such as advertising and facilitate the entire KT Fit process.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Receive and record job vacancy information from relevant parties (Campaign Manager/HR/Resource Planner etc)
  2. Organise advertising, interviewing and selection processes for recruitment campaigns
  3. Interview applicants and record relevant details
  4. Conduct assessments (where necessary)
  5. Prepare shortlists of candidates for referral to relevant parties (where necessary)
  6. Check references and suitability of applicants
  7. Execute social media checks
  8. Assist with sales and marketing duties designed to increase the database
  9. Observe jobs to obtain information about job requirements
  10. Prepare letters of appointment (offer letters)
  11. Liaise with relevant parties (internally) regarding promotions and internal recruitment
  12. Post adverts internally and externally
  13. Schedule interviews
  14. Sit in as unbiased party in internal interviews
  15. Deliver regret letters/emails/meetings to unsuccessful applicants
  16. Schedule open days and assist with other marketing and HR projects
  17. Manage the company social media sites and networks

Key Requirements

Professional Experience:

  1. 3+ years in a similar role
  2. Degree/ diploma preference but not required
  3. Proven experience as recruitment consultant, HR consultant or similar position
  4. Understanding of sourcing and recruiting techniques
  5. Sales and Customer service skills
  6. Outstanding communication ability
  7. Confident and pleasant personality
  8. Well-organized
  9. Ability to work with targets
  10. Sound judgement
  11. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
