Job Description:

Sutherland is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Conversational AI team. This team deploys consumer-facing and agent-facing solutions for well-known Fortune-level brands.

We utilize AI/ML technology to support customer care and sales programs across industries such as Media, Telco, Financial Services, Travel, Retail, and others. Our team is small, ambitious, and forward-looking, backed by a global services company.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will have full lifecycle product management responsibility for products used by end users, agents, analysts, and operations teams. You will lead the development of our agent-facing Conversational AI products.

Key responsibilities include defining and refining the product vision and strategy, developing business, financial, and operational plans, and evangelizing your vision to excite others. Daily activities involve engaging with clients, defining and prioritizing requirements, collaborating with designers and engineers to ideate, design, build, test, deliver, and optimize solutions. You will work cross-functionally across client, partner, and internal stakeholders to bring products from conception to launch.

Drive improvements where needed and lead tradeoff discussions to make informed decisions.

Manage and mentor junior team members, collaborate with go-to-market teams on sales, marketing, and demo materials, and provide subject matter expertise for sales efforts. You will plan and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of relevant experience, including functional, technical, project management, change management, and integration deliverables.
  • Deep understanding of software features, ideation, validation, tradeoff evaluation, and roadmapping processes.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Design, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with professionalism in challenging situations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred: Experience in workspace design, implementing transformational applications in complex enterprise environments, human-powered customer engagement, NLP, and Machine Learning.
