It ensures optimal management of HR processes and associate experience with a focus on people and culture. The HR Business Partner is responsible for solving local organizational challenges through people-related solutions that support Alcon's mission: to help people see brilliantly.
The HRBP delivers annual people processes, has in-depth knowledge of local talent, and provides coaching to managers to help them accelerate talent readiness.
The HRBP brings a deep understanding of local business needs and contributes HR perspectives into business issues. It supports diagnostic interventions to deliver local solutions and collaborates regularly with HR COEs and HR Services on design and execution of solutions and service delivery.
It implements strategic initiatives and other enterprise-wide HR programs supporting Alcon associates, including compensation, performance, employee relations, engagement, culture, and talent development initiatives. It is a role model of Alcon's values and behaviors.
In this role, a typical day includes partnering with people leaders to align with the Talent & Culture Partner to execute enterprise initiatives, delivering core HR services (e.g., OTR, PMP), and ensuring an optimal associate experience. It drives business success by coaching teams on initiatives like the Associate Experience Dashboard and Recognition programs, ensuring timely execution of HR processes, and implementing global, regional, or local HR programs.
The HRBP coaches business leaders and associates on HR topics, supports diagnostic interventions, and utilizes workforce analytics to improve people management.
Knowledge and Skills required include understanding business drivers, influencing people leaders, making data-driven decisions, collaborating effectively, managing multiple projects, and excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, has 5-7 years of relevant HR experience, prior HR Business Partner experience, and fluency in English. Experience working with other countries is a plus.
