Your Mission, Role And Responsibilities
The Squeeze Control Graduate supports the Squeeze Controller with daily, weekly, and monthly purchasing, sales, and squeeze controlling functions, analysis, and projects required by the business.
The Main Missions Of The Role Are To
- Support the Squeeze Controller during monthly closings: data collection and consolidation, report preparation, and variance analysis.
- Month-end closing – Analyze and report on LTA’s CR notes, Pass-through items (e.g., FX Alloy), etc.
- Month-end reviews – Compile purchasing P&L for 4X plants and assist with PowerPoint presentations and comments.
- Consolidate BG P&L and commodity reporting.
- Assist in monthly forecast purchasing: compile forecast, Purchasing P&L, Bill of Material (BOM) explosions, etc.
- Assist with month-end sales and purchasing reviews: PowerPoint presentations for 4 plants (FX, Alloy, and C3).
- Gather information for monthly forecast squeeze (sales and purchasing) from plant controllers and Magritte extracts.
- Weekly estimates – Download weekly price variances from SAP, assess performance vs targets, and hold weekly meetings with purchasing.
- Other tasks – CR note tracking, EA reconciliation, selling price simulations, and ad hoc tasks.
- Graduate Training Project – Focus on extra Alloy passthrough.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business with specialization in Auditing and Management Accounting/Costing.
- Academic results above 70% in final year, maintaining a 60% average overall.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- First experience in Management Accounting is a plus.
- Understanding of standard costing, Bill of Materials, and variance analysis.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, rigor, and agility with figures.
- Results-oriented, team player.
- Willing to grow in a high-pressure environment.
- International mindset.
- Fluent in English.
- Available to start immediately if successful.
- Willing to relocate if required.
