SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced MI SQL Developer to take a key role in building, maintaining, and optimising data-driven solutions that support both internal operations and external client needs.
This role centres around developing efficient SQL processes, managing ETL pipelines, and producing clear, impactful reports to drive informed business decisions.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support reporting and operational needs
- Design and implement ETL workflows for processing large datasets from multiple sources
- Ensure the consistency, accuracy, and confidentiality of data across systems
- Produce dynamic reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Analyse and improve database performance, identifying issues and implementing solutions
- Engage with business units and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored data solutions
- Follow standard testing and change control practices to ensure reliability and minimise risks
- Share expertise within the team to promote continuous learning and innovation
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3–5 years of proven experience as an SQL Developer, with a strong focus on T-SQL
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Advanced knowledge of ETL processes and data modelling techniques
- Proficient in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Skilled in handling large-scale datasets and addressing performance issues
- Strong Excel capabilities and experience in data manipulation
- Able to troubleshoot and optimise complex stored procedures and functions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
Nice to Have:
- Background in the BPO or customer service sector
- Experience with OLAP cubes or cloud-based data solutions
- Exposure to Azure or Python
- Experience working on web-based applications
