The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong market expertise, mentor junior traders, and take ownership of complex trading strategies while maintaining operational excellence.

Responsibilities include compiling odds, executing pre-match and live trades, conducting market analysis, and managing risk frameworks.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Sports Trader (Middle to Senior) to lead trading operations across specialized desk markets and drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong market expertise, mentor junior traders, and take ownership of complex trading strategies while maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile and manage odds for specialized desk markets, ensuring accuracy and competitive positioning
• Execute pre-match and live trading strategies; optimize decision-making to maximize profitability
• Conduct advanced market trend analysis and competitive intelligence; provide strategic insights to leadership
• Manage sophisticated risk frameworks, including bet limit monitoring and exposure analysis
• Monitor real-time sports events and react dynamically to market shifts
• Lead database management and resolve complex sportsbook-related escalations
• Mentor and coach junior traders; drive operational best practices across the desk
• Update and maintain trading databases to support accurate, data-driven decisions
• Cover trading responsibilities on other desks as needed; serve as a liaison across teams and departments
• Drive continuous improvement in trading systems and processes

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 4-6 years of professional sports trading experience (pre-match and live trading)
• Deep expertise in sports betting markets (odds structures, bet types, market trends, edge identification)
• Advanced proficiency with sports trading systems and tools
• Strong risk management discipline and analytical capability in pattern recognition
• Demonstrable knowledge of industry policies, regulations, and operational procedures
• Proven track record of trading performance and consistency
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Experience collaborating effectively across multi-functional teams
• High attention to detail; commitment to quality and accuracy
• Adaptability and resilience in fast-moving, high-pressure environments
• Passion for US sports (American Football, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Baseball)
