Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sports Scientist or Performance Analyst in elite sports.
• Proficiency with performance monitoring technologies and data analysis software (Catapult, STATSports, SPSS, R).
• Strong understanding of physiology, biomechanics, and training principles for different sports.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly to athletes and coaches.
• Experience in report writing and data visualization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Advantage: experience in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga sporting community.
