Advtech is seeking a Physical Education teacher to deliver PE for Grade 0 to 7 and lead the sports culture programme. You will coach multiple disciplines, organise events, and liaise with parents and students, while managing sports equipment and staff.

The role requires a degree in Sports Management or teaching with PE, SACE registration, and at least 3 years' relevant experience. Candidates will support league matches and inter-house activities.

• Minimum degree in Sports Management or Teaching with Physical Education.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee Sports and Culture Programme.
• Oversee Sports and Culture Events.
• Coach in various sporting disciplines.
• Liaise with parents, students and campus visitors.
• Budget and manage sports equipment.
• Manage sports coaches.
• Organise sporting events including leagues and interhouse.
• Physical Education teacher for Grade 0 to 7.

Required: Must be able to teach Physical Education.

Reporting to the Head of School

Duties required:

• Controlling Sports and Culture Programme
• Controlling Sports and Culture Events
• Coaching in various Sporting Disciplines.
• Liaising with parents, students and visitors to the campus.
• Sports Equipment – budgeting and management.
• Sports Coaches – Management.
• Physical Education Teacher – Grade 0 to 7.
• Organisation of sporting events – Official League Matches and Interhouse and Internal Events.

Competencies/Skills/Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, student and parents.
• Energetic, self-motivated, and able to use own initiative
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Must be a team player.
• First Aid Training would be required.
• Willingness to accompany teams to sporting fixtures.
• Skilled in Coaching and Refereeing/Umpiring.

Qualifications:

• Minimum requirement is a recognised Degree in Sports’ Management or Teaching Qualification with Physical Education as a subject completed.
• Must be SACE registered.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the same and/or similar type of position and environment.
• Ability to coach sports is essential
• Experience in the organisation of sporting events
