Job Title:

Events Sponsorships Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Events Sponsorships Coordinator will manage and maximize ROI and engagement with the company's main sports sponsorship with SailGP and other smaller sponsorships. Reporting to the Head of Events for Group, this role involves negotiating and executing sponsorship agreements, enhancing brand awareness, aligning activities with ESG initiatives, and managing logistics and client experience at events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, excellent communication skills, and experience managing sports sponsorships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sponsorship Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to maximize ROI and engagement with SailGP.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with SailGP, ensuring the Group’s interests are prioritized and the partnership delivers value.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with SailGP to ensure sponsorship deliverables are integrated into event planning and execution.
  • Activation: Oversee activation of sponsorship agreements, ensuring commitments are fulfilled and maximum exposure is achieved.
  • ROI Maximization: Track and analyze performance metrics, report findings, and develop strategies to improve ROI.
  • Brand Awareness: Create plans to enhance brand visibility through sponsorship activities, aligning with marketing goals.
  • ESG Initiatives: Align sponsorship activities with sustainability and social responsibility efforts, working closely with SailGP.
  • Creative Development: Innovate to develop impactful initiatives beyond traditional sponsorship.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing and CSR teams to promote the partnership across channels.
  • Invites Management: Manage event invites, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Client Experience: Organize logistics for event attendance, ensuring ROI and a seamless experience for clients.
  • Brand Maximization: Maximize Apex Group's brand presence at SailGP events and in related marketing efforts.
  • Content Leveraging: Use SailGP's digital platforms to create engaging content, including video series like “Reaching the Apex Moment”.
  • Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding SailGP and event attendance.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sponsorship performance, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Travel: Travel as needed to attend events and support sponsorship activities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior and C-suite stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and involvement.
Metrics for Measuring Impact:
  • Brand Awareness & Recall: Conduct surveys pre- and post-sponsorship to measure awareness and recall.
  • Media Value & Impressions: Track media placements, signage, and digital impressions to assess reach.
  • Social Media Engagement: Collaborate with social media teams to maintain active engagement and innovative campaigns, such as gamification.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, Sports Management, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years managing sports sponsorships, agency or in-house.
  • Skills:
