We Are Hiring

• Department: Home Health TherapeuticServices
• Schedule: Flexible - Monday - Friday
• Hospital: Ascension Home Health Services - Alexian Brothers
• Location:Hanover Park, IL
• Salary: $35.84 - $53.76 per hour

What You Will Do

Evaluate and treat home health patients requiring speech-language therapy.

• Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
• Educate and counsel patient and family regarding treatment plans.
• Maintain clinical records and follow performance improvement recommendations.
• Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from home health speech therapy services.
• Provide information regarding appropriate support programs.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drivers License credentialed from the Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles (IL-DMV) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.

Additional Preferences

• Bachelors in Speech pathology Required.
• Minimum of 2 years of geriatrics experiencestrong preferred.
• Home Health experience Strongly Preferred.
• Daytime Weekdays- 6 visits a week, no weekends or holidays, flexible schedule.
• Pay Rate times Visit multiplier.
