Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided vehicle for the transport of specialized goods within East London and surrounding Eastern Cape areas.
• Ensure the secure loading, transportation, and unloading of sensitive or high-value items.
• Adhere strictly to all company protocols regarding handling, security, and chain of custody.
• Maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality regarding the nature of the goods transported.
• Plan and execute daily routes efficiently, ensuring timely and punctual deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues immediately.
• Maintain accurate logs of all deliveries, mileage, and any incidents.
• Represent the company professionally and courteously when interacting with clients.
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of the assigned vehicle.
• Comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Valid South African driver's license (Code B or higher).
• Clean driving record with no traffic violations or incidents.
• Proven experience as a courier or delivery driver, preferably with experience handling specialized or high-value goods.
• Excellent knowledge of the East London and Eastern Cape road network.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive items with care and maintain strict confidentiality.
