Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate specialized delivery vehicles for express deliveries.
• Pick up and deliver a variety of goods, including time-sensitive documents, medical supplies, and fragile items, adhering strictly to delivery schedules.
• Ensure the integrity and security of all items transported during transit.
• Navigate routes effectively using GPS and other navigation tools, adapting to traffic conditions in and around Cape Town .
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery and any exceptions encountered.
• Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients at the point of delivery and pickup.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and traffic laws.
• Handle minor logistical challenges and communicate effectively with the dispatch team.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Requirements

• A valid Code 10 (C1) driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
