Absa is seeking a UI/UX Designer to support end-to-end design across web, mobile and emerging channels. The role blends strategic thinking, interaction design, and prototyping to deliver intuitive, accessible digital products aligned with customer and business goals.

You will apply best-practice UX frameworks, provide specialist guidance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centred solutions, including design system management and accessibility considerations.

Formación

• Experience across digital product UX/UI design.
• Proficiency in Figma for wireframes, prototypes and design systems.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design.
• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in a relevant field.

Job Description

Service Delivery: Deliver UI/UX Digital design of customer-centric digital experiences across web, mobile, and emerging digital channels. The role combines strategic thinking, user experience design, interaction design, visual design, research, and prototyping to deliver intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital products that meet both customer and business objectives.

Understand and apply existing best practice frameworks to assist in the implementation of identified subject matter processes and standards.

Provide specialist advice and support in area of accountability to ensure that identified solutions and recommendations are appropriate and effective.

Identify and recommend new innovative ways of achieving quality results.

Proficiency in Figma for wireframing, UI design, prototyping, and design system management.

• Experience creating interactive prototypes and conducting usability testing to validate concepts and customer journeys.
• Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design across desktop, tablet and mobile platforms.
• Experience working with design systems and component libraries.
• Collaboration with Product, Business, and Engineering teams to deliver customer-centred solutions.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and user-centred design best practices.
