MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To design, model, execute, optimize, and maintain organization-wide standard operating procedures and business processes to ensure consistent and effective service delivery across all Seda delivery networks.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  1. Gather and analyse key business activities, associated risks, and operational requirements.
  2. Document and maintain organization-wide standard operating procedures and business rules to support business operations.
  3. Facilitate SOP review sessions periodically.
  4. Implement identified SOP changes and publish them on organizational platforms.
  5. Implement process and SOP improvement initiatives.
  6. Conduct SOP and process capacity building initiatives.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION
  • Matric (NQF Level 4) plus National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Operations Management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Operations Management is an added advantage.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 4-6 years’ experience in process mapping and reengineering.
  • Experience in documenting business rules and SOPs.
  • Understanding of business system development.
  • Knowledge of business process management strategies and frameworks.
  • Experience in workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement.
  • High-level experience with Business Process Management Suites, MS Office, MS Visio, and SOP software packages.
  • Experience using UML tools to visualize process and system designs.
