A leading financial services group in Johannesburg is seeking an Onboarding Specialist responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process for clients. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and knowledge of regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in business support within the investment industry.

The role is responsible for end-to-end onboarding for all regions (JHB, CPT, KZN), including local and offshore clients. This involves collating and completing all documentation (business and regulatory/compliance), completing all business processes (BAF, SAP profile creation and maintenance), engaging with Portfolio Managers, client service teams, and distribution channels (IFA, SBFC, WI, etc.) to ensure a smooth and timely onboarding process. The individual will provide administrative support across stakeholders, manage end-to-end relationships, and ensure the onboarding experience is streamlined and efficient.
A high level of service is required across multiple stakeholders, with the ability to coordinate administrative tasks, apply risk management and compliance methodologies, and ensure governance to regulatory requirements. The role may also involve participating in project-related initiatives deemed necessary for the business.
Knowledge of FAIS, FIAC, and other regulatory requirements is advantageous. Prior onboarding and client experience management experience is also advantageous.
