Job Summary

Responsible for managing and executing existing data processes and implementing improved data-handling technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Management of MI Data: Manage and execute data processes for Hadoop - ECS, Denodo, Pramen (Linux code). Collaborate with relevant teams to implement advanced data-handling technologies such as AWS, Databricks, and Aqueduct.
2. Reporting and Analysis: Handle monthly reporting using tools like SQL, SAS, and Power BI. Assist with additional data analysis as required.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Work with internal business and technical teams to understand requirements, ensuring objectives and priorities are clear.
4. Data Interpretation: Analyze data to identify issues, risks, and opportunities; communicate insights effectively to business users.
5. Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to policies, legislation, and regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Preferably a qualification in Quantitative Methods or Statistics.
• At least 3 years of experience with Cloud/AWS, SQL, SAS, and Power BI.
• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies.
