Job Description

Facilitate learning of representatives and employees of the Assupol Group.

1. Support region in terms of learning needs.
2. Plan and update regional training schedules according to region’s expressed needs and budget.
3. Perform regional needs analysis to identify performance gaps and propose appropriate solutions.
4. Coach sales on identified performance gaps as per request from regional manager.
5. Calculate return on learning investments on request.
6. Prepare for events as per lesson plan and learning content.
7. Facilitate the learning intervention according to lesson plan and TCF principles.
8. Report errors on learning material to moderator for correction.
9. Assess learners and prepare them for assessments.
10. Invigilate and mark assessments.
11. Provide support to learners “not yet competent”.
12. Provide assessment feedback to learners.
13. Report on errors in assessments to moderator for correction.
14. Manage learning processes:
1. Complete and record attendance register.
2. Complete and record learner results.
3. Complete and record facilitator report.
15. Design learning material:
1. Collate relevant course content.
2. Develop learning material as per set requirements.
3. Submit learning material to line manager for moderation and approval.
16. Treat learners fairly when facilitating learning and during assessments.

Job Requirements

FORMAL EDUCATION

Occupational Directed Education Training and Development Practitioner Qualification (ETDP) or equivalent.

Relevant FAIS Fit and Proper qualification e.g. B.Com.

TECHNICAL / LEGAL CERTIFICATION

Assessor scope with INSETA will be an advantage – this means the job incumbent must have industry experience and a relevant qualification e.g. Wealth Management NQF 5.

Certified Financial Planner as an added advantage.
