Role Purpose / Business Unit

As a Specialist Insights and Analysis within the Postpaid Customer Value Management (CVM) Team, your role will require you to work closely with CVM commercial managers to assist with executing and analysing direct marketing campaigns, as well as to identify and present insights.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Exploratory analytics in collaboration with CVM Campaign Managers to deliver customer insights and identify base marketing opportunities.
  2. Design interim reports before they are productionalized in an enterprise reporting platform, to measure product and campaign performance.
  3. Maintain monthly product performance and impact measurement of the CVM campaign activities.
  4. Collaborate with the Big Data Analytics Team to compile and source requirements emanating from larger data sets.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role Will Have

Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications:

  1. Matric essential
  2. A relevant 3-year degree or 3-year relevant national diploma preferably in BSc, BCom, Engineering, Stats, etc.
  3. Minimum of 3-5 years relevant working experience.

Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience:

  1. CVM, Campaign Management, Analytics, Direct Marketing, or related field.

Key Skills:

  1. Experience using SQL, advanced Excel.
  2. Hypothesis thinking to guide exploratory data analytics efforts and identify customer insights and opportunities.
  3. Ability and skillset to present to large audiences up to Executive level.
