A leading telecommunications client is seeking a Specialist IAM Security based in Midrand, Gauteng. This role focuses on developing and implementing identity management systems, ensuring proper access rights, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain robust security policies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in privileged access management, cybersecurity tools, as well as relevant degrees in technology-related fields.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in Privileged Access Management with proven skills in design and implementation.

Job description

Our client in the Telco sector is seeking a Specialist IAM Security on a contract basis for 12 months.

As the Specialist in Identity and Access Management Security, you will be responsible for ensuring that the right individuals have access to the company's technology systems, developing and implementing identity and access systems, reviewing user access rights, and maintaining access policies.

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

• At least 3 years of proven experience in Privileged Access Management, including architecture, design, integration, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and company-wide project management.
• Knowledge of CyberArk, Centrify systems, and hardening baselines.
• Ability to work effectively with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good communication skills and a team player.
• Proactive approach to security threats.
• Superior report writing skills.

Technical / professional qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technology-related degree.
• Proven experience in IAM, including knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and other IAM tools.
• Familiarity with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and other authorization protocols.
• At least one professional Security Qualification such as CompTIA Security+ or CCNA Security.

Required Experience: Unclear seniority level.
