Financial Accountant

Are you passionate about finance and precision? We’re looking for a Specialist: Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team! In this role, you’ll provide expert advice and support in maintaining and analysing financial data, ensuring accurate reporting to drive impactful business decisions.

Responsibilities

As a key member of our finance team, you will:

• Support audits with up-to-date, accurate financial data
• Provide specialist advice to business stakeholders
• Ensure timely and accurate payments, accruals, and reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve anomalies to minimise risk
• Assist in compiling financial statements and reconciliations
• Drive process improvements within defined procedures
• Deliver insights to support strategic financial decisions

Experience and Qualifications (Mandatory Requirements)

• Qualified CA(SA) or CIMA – This is a non-negotiable requirement for the role
• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar financial accounting or reporting role
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, accounting principles, and audit processes
• High attention to detail with excellent analytical and reconciliation skills
• Proven ability to plan, investigate, and problem-solve within financial processes
