Role Purpose : The purpose of the role is to provide the various leads within the Consumer Business Unit (CBU) Prepaid Commercial environment with financial and analytical support to ensure the achievement of key business objectives.

The support provided by the Specialist: Finance Business Partner CBU is aimed at ensuring efficiency in operational and tactical decision-making, underpinned by robust financial reviews using analytics, business and commercial intelligence, and financial modelling.

This role will mainly focus on supporting CBU FBP internally, as well as Commercial, Pricing, and FinOps business functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the CBU teams with financial decision analysis and providing business challenges during the launch of propositions.
• Manipulating raw data for building financial models and analysing customer trends and behaviour.
• Extracting data using SQL, Qliksense, or suitable analytics tools, and converting it into actionable insights for business decision-making.
• Understanding key business drivers and translating sensitivities to stakeholders.
• Communicating effectively through high-quality written and oral presentations with clear insights and actions for executive management.
• Providing timely and accurate feedback to internal and external stakeholders.

Typical Outputs include:

1. Business case evaluation: Supporting the business to make optimal financial decisions by providing guidance and challenge through comprehensive evaluations of proposals for new products, pricing changes, or targeted campaigns.
2. Post-investment reviews: Completing appraisals to measure performance against objectives and communicating lessons learned.
3. Deep and insightful product analytics: Supporting the Commercial team with monthly KPI performance analysis by product categories and advising on campaigns and new propositions to meet financial targets.
4. Channel and customer investment analytics: Providing accurate financial performance data to achieve targeted A&R efficiency, including regional financial analysis and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A 3-year degree in Quants, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business Science, Finance, or equivalent.
• Advanced modelling skills in Excel.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to identify and assess risks and sensitivities.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands.
• Self-starter and action-oriented mindset.
• Understanding of the competitive environment.
• Experience in financial performance reporting.
