Role Purpose/Business Unit:

The Commercial Operations & Assurance Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of commercial deal letter execution, ensuring invoice accuracy, conducting commission assurance checks, and managing disputes with Fixed Network Operators (FNOs). The role will ensure financial compliance, protect revenue integrity, and maintain strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

Commercial Deal Letter Management

  • Draft, review, and manage commercial deal letters in coordination with legal and finance teams.
  • Ensure all deal terms are accurately documented and aligned with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Track deal execution status and maintain a central repository for all commercial agreements.


Invoice Verification

  • Review and validate invoices from partners, vendors, and service providers to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Identify discrepancies, escalate issues, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with finance and procurement teams for payment processing and compliance tracking.


Commission Assurance Checks

  • Conduct regular audits of commission payouts to ensure alignment with agreed terms and conditions.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies related to sales performance metrics or payment calculations.
  • Develop controls and reporting mechanisms to enhance commission assurance processes.

FNO Dispute Management

  • Manage and resolve disputes with Fixed Network Operators (FNOs) related to service agreements, billing, or performance obligations.
  • Coordinate with legal, technical, and finance teams to investigate and resolve issues effectively.
  • Maintain documentation of all disputes, resolutions, and settlement agreements for audit and compliance purposes.


Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales, legal, finance, and commercial strategy teams to ensure alignment across processes.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for external vendors and FNO partners regarding commercial agreements and disputes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve contract negotiation and financial accuracy.


Reporting & Compliance

  • Develop regular reports on deal performance, invoice discrepancies, and dispute resolutions for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audits and provide required documentation related to commercial agreements and financial transactions.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A 3-year Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a commercial or financial environment.
