Job description

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Buy smartly for Zimbabwean, Mozambique, and Zambian clients in the mining, farming, and construction industries, handling cross-border export of goods.
2. Preparation of purchase orders.
3. Dealing with various suppliers and Bureau Veritas.
4. Managing SADC certificates.
5. Coordination with the warehouse and transporters.
6. Collating delivery and collection documents.
7. Processing supplier tax invoices.
8. Negotiating discounts, rebates, and transport rates with suppliers and transporters.
9. Liaising with the Accountant, Clearing Agents, and Zimbabwean team.
10. Preparation of export tax invoices and necessary export documents.
11. Building trucks for clients and handling transport insurance.
12. Maintaining detailed tracking sheets and client relationships.
13. Attending to client quotes within 48 hours.
14. This role is specialized and not a typical buying position.
