PepsiCo Inc. is seeking an instrumentation and automation specialist to install, calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot control systems and production equipment, with focus on minimising downtime and improving plant reliability.

The role requires hands-on work with PLCs, SCADA, sensors and transmitters, along with leading the maintenance team to meet safety and quality standards in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in instrumentation and automation within FMCG/manufacturing.
• Practical experience with PLCs, SCADA, sensors, transmitters, control loops and VSDs.
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Team leadership or supervisory experience.
• N3/N4 or equivalent technical qualification.
• Relevant Instrumentation trade qualification.

Responsabilités

• Install, calibrate, maintain and repair instrumentation, sensors, transmitters, control valves, and automated equipment.
• Perform fault-finding and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Programme, configure, maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems.
• Add, update and maintain SCADA interfaces and ensure accurate monitoring and alarms.
• Test and commission instrumentation and control systems after installations or repairs.
• Lead and support the maintenance team while ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Overview

To provide specialist instrumentation and automation support by installing, calibrating, maintaining and troubleshooting control systems and production equipment to minimise downtime and improve plant reliability.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, maintain and repair instrumentation, sensors, transmitters, control valves, and automated equipment.
• Perform instrumentation, electrical and control-system fault-finding and troubleshooting to minimize production downtime.
• Programme, configure, maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems.
• Add, update and maintain SCADA interfaces and ensure accurate monitoring, alarms, and controls.
• Test and commission instrumentation and control systems following installations, repairs or modifications.
• Lead and support the maintenance team while ensuring compliance with safety, food safetyand maintenance standards.

Qualifications

• N3/N4 or equivalent technical qualification.
• Relevant Instrumentation trade qualification.
• Experience in instrumentation and automation within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
