Job Title: Supply Chain & EAM - Business Analytics Lead

Key Responsibilities:
Business Engagement and Demand Management:
Act as the primary contact between business stakeholders and IT for analytics projects and enhancements.
Capture, assess, and prioritize demands from business units, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
Collaborate with stakeholders across African markets to understand local needs and tailor solutions, engaging at the Country Managing Director and Functional Director levels.
Identify gaps in data and analytics competencies and coordinate sessions with Data Product Owners or external vendors.
Project and Enhancement Management:
Manage analytics projects, overseeing delivery to ensure value creation and alignment with business goals.
Evaluate demands, categorizing them as projects or enhancements.
Coordinate with IT to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Manage Capex and Opex for analytics initiatives, including evaluating vendor quotes and handling financial tracking.
Data Stewardship and Quality Management:
Ensure the accuracy, quality, and reliability of critical business data.
Support compliance with data quality standards, collaborating with IT and business units.
Monitor and resolve data integrity issues with the Data Quality team.
Promote data asset utilization through clarity of purpose, user training, and adoption.
Governance and Compliance:
Lead governance activities related to BI AMS, Digital Factory, and business processes.
Conduct access reviews, manage data permissions, and ensure policy compliance.
Oversee workspace management for analytics environments.
Engage with governance bodies and support audits.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Build and maintain relationships across South Africa and other African markets.
Communicate effectively with technical teams and business leaders to foster collaboration.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, IT, or related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in analytics or business-IT liaison roles.
Strong knowledge of analytics processes, data management, and governance.
Experience managing Capex and Opex budgets.
Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and data access management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of the African business landscape is advantageous.
