Job Summary

Accounting Control ensures the delivery of accurate and timely financial information for reporting to stakeholders. The individual will focus on the tax process within the AC team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage tax-related processes: Reconcile tax ledger, prepare month-end tax calculations, post tax journals, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
2. Reporting and stakeholder communication: Report tax numbers, support external reporting, and respond to ad hoc queries.
3. Process improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and sustainability.
4. Team support and development: Motivate and mentor team members, manage team dynamics, and escalate resource issues.
5. Process execution: Continuously review and improve processes, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with the Financial Control Operating Model.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field; CA(SA) or equivalent preferred.
