An established industry player is seeking an educational and counselling psychologist to join their dynamic team. This role involves providing therapeutic support, conducting various assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes. The educational and counselling psychologist will form a part of the multi-disciplinary team at Arcadia and Jewish Community Services (JCS).
The purpose of the psychologist will be to provide therapeutic support to clients of Arcadia and JCS including conducting psycho-educational, subject and career assessments, individual therapy, and family therapy.
The incumbent will consult with therapeutic staff across the organization as required and assist HR with EAP sessions as needed.
The psychologist would work in collaboration with social workers from the Chev Community Social Services as well as social workers and child and youth care workers from Arcadia.
He / she will participate in case conferences, family meetings, and the development of individual development plans.
Assist with EAP sessions for staff of the organization for the Human Resources Department.
Consult with all therapeutic staff across the Chev group as required for clients, beneficiaries, and residents.
