Job Description

The Specialised Managerial Consultant will provide quality guidance, support and coaching to the managers of Kaelo Lifestyle clients engaging in the programme. Further to this, the Managerial Consultant will be responsible for managing formal referrals.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Conducting managerial assessments when managers formally refer employees into the EAP.
2. Providing feedback, guidance, coaching and support to the manager during the formal referral process.
3. Provide managers with tools and techniques when dealing with difficult employees.
4. Assist managers in dealing with the various challenges related to their managerial roles.
5. Provide guidance and coaching around leadership skills, management skills and soft skills required in managerial roles.
6. Log case notes on all interactions with clients on the EAP system.

Qualifications

PERSON DETAILS: WORK EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED

1. Minimum of 5 years EAP or related counselling experience.
2. Qualified social worker, psychologist or registered counsellor.
3. Registered with the relevant professional body.

PREFERRED

1. Telephonic counselling experience.
2. Some experience in a call centre or customer service environment.

TECHNICAL SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE

REQUIRED

1. Proficient in relevant computer applications.
2. Required language proficiency.
3. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
4. Knowledge of call centre telephony and technology.
5. Good data entry and typing skills.
6. Knowledge of administration skills and processes.

PREFERRED

1. Some experience in a call centre or customer service environment.
