Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Needs Education Teacher to join our Welkom-based support team. You will work to provide tailored educational support to students with diverse learning needs, creating an inclusive environment where every child can reach their potential.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized education plans (IEPs), implement adaptive teaching strategies, monitor progress, and communicate with parents and guardians.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Special Needs Education (e.g., B.Ed. (Special Needs)).
• Proven experience working with children with a range of disabilities (e.g., learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD).
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies for special needs education.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and patience.

Responsibilities
