Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Special Needs Childcare Facilitator for a leading childcare facility in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will provide specialized care and educational support to children with diverse needs, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for growth.

The role requires developing individualized plans, implementing therapeutic activities, and collaborating with therapists, parents, and external specialists.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Special Needs Education or related field.
• Experience with children with diverse special needs.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and individualized plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to children with special needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with therapists and parents.
• Facilitate therapeutic play and structured activities.
• Monitor progress, document observations, and report milestones.
• Maintain safe, clean, and nurturing environment and health compliance.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and external specialists.
• Administer basic first aid and respond to emergencies.
