Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a compassionate and highly organized Special Education Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to lead support services in Kimberley. You will identify and address diverse learning needs, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborate with teachers, parents, and external specialists.

The SENCO will advocate for inclusive education, ensure compliance with legislation, maintain records, and coach staff on strategies to support students with special needs.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a compassionate and highly organized Special Education Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to lead their support services in Kimberley . This vital role involves identifying and addressing the diverse learning needs of students requiring additional support, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and external specialists. You will be a key advocate for inclusive education, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential. This position requires a deep understanding of special education methodologies, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for every child.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the identification and assessment of students with special educational needs.
