The Spare Parts Manager reports to the Customer Relations Manager and manages 6 subordinates. The primary purpose of this role is to define and implement the company's purchasing strategy, oversee supply chain management, and lead sales activities to provide effective supply and services to clients. This position plays a key role in increasing spare parts revenue and enhancing customer service levels, contributing to the company's growth and profitability.
At least a tertiary qualification (N.Dip.) in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, with experience in sales and customer account management. A marketing, commerce, or business-related qualification with technical/engineering sales experience is beneficial. Strong leadership experience is required, with a minimum of 5 years in business development, customer management, procurement, or sales. Supply chain or warehouse management experience, knowledge of contract law and pricing, analytical skills, SAP proficiency, and familiarity with aluminium smelter/heavy industry equipment are advantageous.
