Placements24 is seeking a creative E-commerce & Social Media Content Creator in Soweto, Gauteng. You will produce engaging content for our client's online stores and social channels, ensure brand consistency, and communicate product value.

The role requires 1–3 years’ experience, proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, strong writing and video editing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with the marketing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter) including graphics, short videos, and written posts.
• Develop product descriptions, website copy, and blog posts to enhance the e-commerce experience.
• Plan and maintain a content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of creative assets.
• Monitor social media trends and audience engagement to inform content strategy.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with campaign objectives and brand voice.
• Assist in managing social media advertising campaigns, including content creation for ads.
• Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Engage with the online community by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
• Assist with basic website updates and product listing management on the e-commerce platform.
