Placements24 is seeking a passionate Community Outreach Manager for a Johannesburg-based non-profit serving Soweto and the Gauteng region. You will lead outreach strategies, build relationships with community members, local leaders, and partner organizations, and drive engagement and program implementation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years in community outreach or related role.
• Proven ability to build and nurture community relationships in Gauteng.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of Soweto dynamics and needs.
• Experience in event planning and volunteer management.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement comprehensive community outreach strategies and programs in Soweto.
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, residents, local businesses, and partner organizations.
• Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and meetings.
• Represent the organization at community gatherings and forums.
• Identify community needs and develop targeted initiatives to address them.
• Manage outreach budgets and resources effectively.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for outreach activities.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of outreach programs, providing regular reports.
• Communicate program updates and successes to stakeholders and the wider community.
• Advocate for community interests and liaise with local government officials.
