SAB Graduate Management Trainee (GMT) Programme 2025

The SAB GMT Programme is a dynamic, 10-month fast-track leadership development programme designed to build the next generation of SAB leaders. Since its inception, the GMT Programme has welcomed over 2,300 hires globally, offering unmatched exposure, mentorship, and growth opportunities across multiple business functions.

What to Expect During the Programme
  • 3-month functional rotations aligned to SAB’s strategic pillars
    • Functions include Marketing, Sales, Technology, Supply Chain, and Logistics
  • Participation in Cheers! Festival (Global Induction) with senior leaders and global peers
  • Access to the global GMT alumni network
  • Cross-location experiences (mobility within South Africa required)
  • Formal mentoring and access to leadership & development curriculum
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership
  • Final placement in a front-line leadership role post-programme
Candidate Profile
  • Completed undergraduate degree (STEM disciplines preferred) by programme start
  • Studying towards or completed Postgraduate Diploma, Masters, or equivalent in Business Administration is advantageous
  • Maximum 3 years’ full-time work experience (excl. internships, vacation work, or short contracts)
  • Full South African citizenship (legal work authorization)
  • Willing to relocate within the country (mobility required)
