Three Sages is not your typical café bar. We're a sensory journey rooted in ancient wellness, modern nourishment, and deep connection. Our menu is a fusion of Mediterranean anti-inflammatory cooking and botanical elixirs, served with soul by our Elixir Sages. Now, we’re searching for a Sous Chef who can bring finesse, flow, and flavour to our evening service.

What You'll Do:
  • Preparing elevated, wholesome meals inspired by seasonal produce and functional nutrition.
  • Run kitchen operations during evening service with confidence and care.
  • Uphold impeccable hygiene, food safety, and consistency standards.
  • Innovate: contribute ideas that elevate the menu and reflect our brand ethos.
  • Mentor junior staff with patience, skill, and kitchen harmony in mind.
Who You Are:
  • You’re a qualified chef with at least 3 years’ experience in a professional kitchen (bonus if that’s in a health-conscious, Mediterranean or plant-forward kitchen).
  • You thrive under pressure, especially during high-volume dinner shifts.
  • You care deeply about the craft of food and the ritual of service.
  • You’re passionate about sustainability, local sourcing, and holistic health.
  • You’re ready to be part of a visionary concept making waves in South African hospitality.
