A luxury lodge in the Eastern Cape is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and deliver exceptional dining experiences.

You will supervise kitchen staff, manage daily operations, ensure HACCP compliance, monitor portion control and stock rotation, and contribute to menu planning for seasonal offerings. Flexibility in hours and strong leadership are essential to thrive in this 5-star environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a senior kitchen role within a luxury lodge or hotel.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and hygiene standards.
• Experience with stock control, ordering and food costing.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours; driver’s licence advantageous.
