We’re on the hunt for a Sound Technician to join our dynamic George team at CCPP Group, where we specialise in Creating Experiences through high-quality live event production.

From corporate functions and brand activations to weddings and stage shows, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional sound for every audience. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys working hands-on with professional audio systems, and has a sharp ear for detail.

You’ll be responsible for expert setup, operation, and troubleshooting — ensuring flawless sound from first mic check to final applause.

The Role

As a Sound Technician, you’ll take the lead on setting up, operating, and maintaining professional audio systems at live events. You’ll collaborate with our technical team to ensure crisp, reliable sound from start to finish.

What You’ll Do
  • Set up, operate, and maintain professional sound equipment for live events
  • Load, rig, test, and strike PA systems according to event specifications
  • Troubleshoot audio issues on-site to ensure smooth event execution
  • Ensure clean cabling, tidy work areas, and a safe, professional setup
  • Collaborate with the technical team to meet client needs and event timelines
  • Identify and report any equipment faults and contribute to ongoing maintenance plans
  • Assist in the warehouse with gear preparation, repairs, and general upkeep
What You Bring
  • 1–2 years’ experience in live sound or event tech
  • Strong knowledge of analogue and digital audio systems (consoles, DSPs, mics, amps, etc.)
  • Ability to read stage plots and signal flow diagrams
  • Calm under pressure, collaborative, and a good communicator
  • Physically able to lift and handle technical equipment
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Bonus If You Have
  • Experience with lighting, visuals, or staging
  • A valid driver’s licence
  • Basic understanding of power distribution and technical safety protocols
