Placements24 is seeking a skilled Sound Engineer to join the Richards Bay production team. You will handle recording, mixing, mastering, and live sound reinforcement for diverse projects, collaborating with artists, producers, and technical crews to ensure high-fidelity audio across platforms.

The role requires expertise in acoustics, DAWs, and microphone techniques, with a creative ear for sound design and strong ability to work under pressure during sessions and events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sound Engineer or in a similar audio production role.
• Proficiency with industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live) and audio hardware.
• Strong knowledge of acoustics, signal flow, and microphone techniques.
• Experience with live sound mixing and PA system setup.
• Excellent listening skills and a keen ear for detail in audio fidelity.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively during production sessions or events.
