As our new Solution Sales Specialist – Growth Segment, you will be playing a critical role in the sales cycle by collaborating with clients, understanding their technical and business challenges, and designing effective solutions. While working closely with the BDM Licensing Sales Specialists and technology partners, you will be developing compelling proposals that are driving business value.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs)
  • Providing expertise on cloud adoption, IT modernization, and software licensing strategies
  • Supporting sales teams by providing technical insights, responding to RFPs/RFIs, and crafting value-driven proposals
  • Articulating the benefits of Crayon’s IT services and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Working closely with technology vendors (Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) to leverage partner programs and enhance solution offerings

Your Competencies:

  • 3+ years of experience in Solution Presales within IT Industry
  • Experience selling cloud-based solutions and services
  • Solid knowledge of the South African IT and technology landscape

About You:

  • Results- and customer-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Solid negotiation skills, capable of developing effective relationships at all levels, from technical to CXO
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
