Role Purpose

Support the Sales function with deep expertise in infrastructure models and technologies, engaging directly in sales pursuits to shape, propose, and close deals. Act as the subject matter expert representing the client solution perspective, aligning sales, financial, business, and delivery views. Take responsibility for technical aspects such as supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and coordinating technical resources.

Help develop and maintain the company's portfolio of solution offerings by understanding client and industry trends, company strategy, core competencies, and partner perspectives to create a compelling value proposition.

Role Responsibilities

  1. Manage and perform pre-sales solutioning efforts across Sales, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, and Project Office to ensure solution integrity.
  2. Design solutions using standard offerings and third-party products to produce proposals and contracts.
  3. Translate customer concerns into technical solutions and business requirements, leading assessments of client environments.
  4. Understand the competitive landscape and articulate the differentiation and value of Logicalis solutions.
  5. Contribute to post-implementation improvements for performance and functionality.
  6. Define and refine standard offerings, artefacts, and IP.
  7. Develop proposals and pricing models.
  8. Collaborate with internal experts and architects to devise solutions.
  9. Expand accounts through strategic sales and operational sessions.

Delivery Responsibilities

Ensure solutions meet quality standards, manage proposal turnaround times, and maintain commercial accuracy in costing.

Person Requirements

  • Excellent technical problem-solving skills and knowledge of ITIL processes.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex technical topics.
  • Adaptability and team leadership abilities.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in a technical sales role focused on Microsoft Azure and infrastructure solutions.
  • At least 5 years designing and implementing integrated systems.
  • 8+ years in Infrastructure, Networking, Cloud, and VoIP services.
  • Linux administration experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in IT infrastructure or related fields.
  • Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified Administrator Expert.

Additional Skills/Attributes

  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, Windows Desktop/Server, Hyper-V, Exchange, SQL, Office, Azure, Security tools, and licensing.
  • Experience with network connectivity, backup solutions, hypervisors, hardware, and cloud technologies.
