Role Purpose

Support the Sales function with deep expertise in infrastructure models and technologies, engaging directly in sales pursuits to shape, propose, and close deals. Act as the subject matter expert representing the client solution point of view, aligning sales, financial, business, and delivery perspectives. Take responsibility for the technical aspects of solutions, including supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and coordinating technical resources.

Role Responsibilities
  • Manage and perform pre-sales solutioning efforts across sales, pre-sales, professional services, and project office to ensure solution integrity and consistency.
  • Design solutions using standard offerings and third-party products to produce proposals and contracts with Practice Managers, Sales, and Project Office.
  • Translate customer concerns into technical solutions and business requirements, leading assessments to facilitate solution scoping.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and articulate the differentiators and value propositions of Logicalis solutions.
  • Contribute to post-implementation improvements to enhance performance and functionality.
  • Define and refine standard offerings, artefacts, and IP.
  • Develop proposals and pricing models.
  • Collaborate with internal experts and architects to devise client solutions.
  • Expand accounts through strategic sales and operational initiatives.
Delivery Responsibilities and KPIs
  • Ensure quality of designs and proposals.
  • Achieve proposal-to-purchase conversion rates.
  • Maintain commercial accuracy in costing versus operational effort.
  • Manage turnaround times effectively.
Person Requirements
  • Excellent technical problem-solving skills, including performance issue identification.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and structured project management.
  • Ability to work closely with clients, sales, and project teams to design and implement solutions.
  • Independence and proactive leadership in complex environments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying technical topics.
  • Adaptability and leadership qualities to motivate teams and drive change.
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years in technical sales roles focused on Microsoft Azure and infrastructure solutions.
  • At least 5 years designing and implementing integrated systems.
  • 8+ years in infrastructure, networking, cloud, and VoIP services support and administration.
  • Linux administration experience is advantageous.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years in IT infrastructure or related fields.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Administrator Expert preferred.
Additional Skills/Attributes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, Windows OS, server management, and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of security, licensing, connectivity, backup, hypervisors, and hardware.
